Catering FAQ's

Are you Licensed?

We are an approved commercial kitchen and a fully licensed catering company with Chelan Douglas County Health District.

Do you have a "set" menu for events or can we customize?

We are always updating menu options, creating seasonal menus and new ideas. We have a Breakfast, Lunch, and General Menu that we will send to you as appropriate; we work with you on creating a menu and help you choose which services fit you vision and budget for your Celebration. 

Can you accommodate vegetarian and special dietary requests?

We offer a wide variety of vegetarian, vegan, and other special needs menu items; we are happy to work with you during the planning process to address these needs.

Do you have Children's Pricing?

Yes, children ages 5-10 are 50% of adult pricing; 4 and under no charge for the meal but are counted for seating.

Do you provide Dinnerware?

We include basic disposable dinnerware for most events; higher quality disposable ware can be coordinated through Two Chefs Catering at an additional per person price; or you can provide your own disposable dinnerware of your choice.

Do you Coordinate Rentals?

Typically we ask that you coordinate your own dinnerware, linens through a rental company of your choice. We can coordinate rentals - pricing for the rentals and 20% is added to your final invoice.

Do you provide Bar Services?

We have permitted staffing for serving alcohol; we are not licensed to sell alcohol at your event. 

Do your Staffing wear uniforms?

In general Staffing attire is black, gray and/or white with a Black Apron with the Two Chefs Catering logo.

Do you provide Cake Cutting Service and is there a fee?

We do provide this service and there is no extra fee if the cake cutting is done within the hours agreed upon for staffing to be at your event.

What is the breakdown of your pricing?

In general we charge a per person meal price, labor charges for staffing, 18% service fee, and local sales tax. All of your charges will be broken down for you with your personalized proposal/quote.

How many servers/staffing will I need at my event?

Staffing varies with each event and there are many factors that influence staffing numbers needed. This will be a part of your proposal and is discussed with you during the planning process. Staffing hours include: an appropriate amount of time prior to the event for set up; number of event hours; clean up (time is dependent upon need); drive time to and from the event.

What is your "Drop off" Service?

This is service that works well with some events where we drop off in all disposable ware, or drop off and later pick up equipment. There is a delivery fee but no extra staffing fees. 

Fees for Delivery/Pickup may vary but generally are:

*Wenatchee/East Wenatchee/Cashmere $40; *Chelan/Leavenworth/Lake Wenatchee/Quincy $90; *Manson $130. 

I would like to compare quotes with other caterers, how can I do this?

Caterers may provide quotes in different ways; we recommend you get a full description of what is included and what is extra and do your comparisons with all of the information to achieve an accurate comparison.
